“Real Hip Hop is OVER HERE” KRS One introduced to NOVEM
When NOVEM says “Real Hip Hop is OVER HERE” they mean it.
On Friday, June 29th, Hip Hop legend KRS 1 arrived in Chicago to perform consecutive shows at Claredon Park with Kumba Linx and Rock The Bells. When KRS showed up 30 minutes after the show at Claredon was scheduled to close, NOVEM was still there kicking freestyles and prepared to talk to him about future “in-store” opportunities. When KRS received the shirt and business card in the photo below, he asked “What’s this?”
Menace replied “We’ve got a store and clothing brand in the city at this location.”
KRS responded “I’ve got to do something at the store!”
The anwer to his interest was “KRS, whatever and whenever you want, we just had Martha Cooper in May. Just let us know.”
Long story short, we will do whatever we can to get KRS in the store for our Chicagoans. Just keep your fingers crossed with us and we will let you know of an update.
